Wireless Collar
The Monorean earpiece is completely wireless, so there are no cables hanging from your ear. The paper-thin collar from Monorean Pro transmits the signal to your ear. The Monorean Pro collar is connected directly to the Monorean Pro control box, and can be simply worn around your neck.

The thickness of the Monorean Pro collar is its most distinguishing feature— the collar is paper-thin! It can be concealed during your exam with the thinnest shirt.

How it works
The collar of the Monorean Pro is the antenna that wirelessly transmits a signal to your earpiece. Many of our users wonder if the collar can be worn anywhere other than around the neck— however, it is absolutely necessary to wear it around the neck to receive a signal.
Many users also want to know if they can have a hidden earpiece without the collar, but the collar is required to enable the functionality of such a small earpiece.

Correct installation
The side labelled Monorean should be placed just below the height of your clavicle, above your breastbone. When you put a shirt on, the back side of the collar will not touch your neck but will instead go a little down to the area of your upper back, successfully concealing the device.
Once you have installed the collar, have a partner walk around you to see if they can see the collar.

Use cloth or plastic surgical tape to fasten the collar to your body.
Tips
Maintenance and fragile areas
The part labeled Fragile area / Área frágil should not be forced or bent. Besides that, there is no maintenance. Despite its paper-thin appearance, the collar is a very durable component.
Never force the collar on the areas that read: Fragile area / Area frágil.
What type of shirt should I use?
Since the Monorean Pro collar is thinner than a piece of paper, you won’t need to worry about selecting the right shirt to wear. The collar can be effortlessly concealed with most shirts. Simply ensure that the shirt you choose is neither see-through nor has a low neckline.
The best way to hide the collar
Concealing the collar is simple, but the results can be improved by adding an interior pouch to the shirt or jacket. Therefore, if you need to remove your shirt during an exam, the equipment can be removed safely along with the shirt.
