Bluetooth Earpiece for cell phone
During the exam, the hidden Bluetooth earpiece Monorean Pro will allow you to make a phone call using your cell phone. The Beeper Pushbutton allows you to pick up an incoming call or dial the last phone number dialed without having to touch your phone. If you want to listen to an audio tracks that you previously recorded instead, use the Bluetooth earpiece with your MP3 player: Bluetooth earpiece for MP3 player with pushbuttons.
Bluetooth Earpiece for cell phone, step by step

Charge the control box, connecting the connector with the label:

to your computer with the USB cable. Make sure your computer’s USB port is in good working order. While the control box is charging, keep the computer powered on.Store the device fully charged.
The battery indicator (

) will be red indicating: charging. It’ll be fully charged once the indicator turns green. -
The inductive collar should be worn around your neck. The side labelled Monorean should be placed just below your clavicle, above your breastbone. When you put a shirt on, the back side of the collar will not touch your neck but instead will hang in your upper back area, making it impossible to see.

Use cloth or plastic surgical tape to secure the collar to your body. Pay special attention to the collar areas marked Fragile Areas.

Connect the collar to the control box’s connector with the label:

Turn on the control box using the “ON-OFF“ switch

Make sure it’s fully charged -
Connect the control box to your Bluetooth MP3 player or cell phone via Bluetooth. To do so, press and hold the Bluetooth button for five seconds or until the blue light flashes. Then select the Monorean Pro device in your phone’s list of available Bluetooth devices. For more information, please refer to the manufacturer’s instruction manual for your specific model. If you are prompted for a Bluetooth password, it will be 0000. Keep in mind that your phone must always be with you or within 10 meters (30 feet) from Monorean Pro’s control box.
The Monorean Pro control box optimizes power usage so that the battery can perform at its best. If the control box’s primary battery runs out, it will keep a reserve to keep the Bluetooth connection going.
The Bluetooth link Monorean Pro won’t be visible by other devices once your phone is paired with Monorean Pro.

Connect the microphone to the microphone jack on the control box with the label:

and hide it where you feel most conformable. The most common places to conceal the microphone are the wrist or on your chest (close to your neck).![]()
Tip: If you place the microphone on your wrist you will be able to cover your mouth while you speak 🙊.

Connect The Beeper Pushbutton to the connector on the control box with the label:

. Place The Beeper Pushbutton where it feels the most comfortable— for example under your big toe.

Introduce the hidden earpiece into your ear.

How to use the Bluetooth earpiece
You can now proceed to the examination room. When you arrive to your exam, press and hold the Beeper Pushbutton for five seconds to begin the conversation. You can also wait for your partner to call you in and answer the incoming call by pressing the Beeper Pushbutton for five seconds. You will hear the incoming call through the hidden earpiece only if your cell phone is in silent mode. Consider disabling the vibration to avoid unintended noises when receiving a call.
